The Booking Contract Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when Romme or your travel agent issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Romme or the authorized agent immediately. Ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport.
Required Medical Information You must provide any medical information reasonably requested by Romme and may be required to complete the Tour Operator’s medical information form. Medical Forms are mandatory for certain Tours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that may impact your ability to travel, participate in a Tour, or travel to remote areas without access to medical facilities, you must return a Medical Form, signed by a licensed and practicing physician, to Romme prior to or at the time of final payment for the applicable booking.
Romme reserves the right to request further information or professional medical opinions where necessary for your safety or the safe operation of a Tour. Romme reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a Tour at any time and at your own risk and expense where Romme determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unfit for travel or you represent a danger to yourself or others.
Special Requirements Any special requirements must be disclosed to Romme at the time of booking. Romme will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests, but this is not always possible. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to Romme at the time of booking. Special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and Romme and Romme is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.
Travelers with Special Needs/Requirements At Romme, we value the needs of all our clients. If anyone on your booking requires accommodation for accessibility needs, please email sales@romme.ca so that we may assist you with notifying the relevant suppliers and making the necessary arrangements, if available.
Insurance Requirements Insurance can be purchased as an add-on. Romme Travel Inc. strongly recommends travel insurance to cover each individual customer against any unforeseen circumstances or medical bills which may occur prior to, during, or after your trip. We remind you that government health insurance plans may not cover any or may only pay a portion of the expenses incurred for emergency out-of-province hospital or medical services. There are different types of travel insurance packages available.
Insurance claims: it is the insured's responsibility to contact the insurance company as soon as possible.
Some countries, such as Cuba, have made medical insurance a mandatory requirement for entry. Travelers may be asked to provide proof of medical insurance upon arrival; otherwise, you may be required to purchase locally.
All insurance claim amounts are limited to the amounts outlined within the insurance policy and it is the responsibility of the customer to understand any exclusions or limitations of the policy.
By making a purchase either via the romme.ca website, the customer agrees they were offered insurance and accepts all responsibility for any loss of refund, compensation, right to make a claim, or expenses incurred before or while traveling if insurance is not purchased.

Airport Check-in & Flight Reconfirmation Check-in opens at least three (3) hours prior to the flight and can close as early as one (1) hour prior to departure; please check boarding pass for the exact time to be at the correct departure gate and allow time for check-in and security to avoid refusal of boarding. For security reasons, all travelers must be present for check-in at the boarding gate. If boarding is denied due to late check-in, travelers will not be entitled to a refund; most airlines will do their best to find the next flight, but this may incur additional cost.
Flight Reconfirmation: Flight times are subject to change, including but not limited to the change of equipment, adding and removing stops and connections. As per the terms and conditions, it is the traveler’s responsibility to reconfirm all flight times 12 - 24 hours prior to departure by contacting your airline or checking the airline’s website. If Romme Travel is aware of a change, every effort will be made to advise you directly.
We recommend travelers check the airline website for up-to-date information on flight details and destinations. Many airlines offer an SMS/text service to notify directly of changes; we recommend you sign up for this service.
Prices, Surcharges, and Taxes Romme will not increase the price of your Tour after you have paid in full. Tours are priced and advertised inclusive of applicable taxes. From time to time, Romme may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services. Reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Bookings where payment of at least a deposit has been received by Romme are not entitled to reduced pricing.
Cancellation by the Participant You may cancel your booking by notifying Romme. Cancellation fees will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by Romme and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the canceled Tour:
- Cancellation greater than 30 days to trip departure: 85% refund.
- Cancellation less than 30 but more than 20 days to trip departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation less than 20 but more than 10 days to trip departure: 15% refund.

If we make a major change to your Vacation Package itinerary prior to departure, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund. Only the following are considered major changes:
- A change in the departure or return date, unless the change results from a flight delay experienced by the air carrier; however, if the delay is more than 48 hours, it will be considered a major change.

In addition, the Customer acknowledges that the hotel may remove a Customer from the hotel for similar reasons. In the event the Customer is so removed or his/her participation terminated, the return trip with the Operator will be canceled, and any/all expenses from being removed which include but are not limited to hotel accommodations and a return flight are the responsibility of the Customer. What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. These cookies are set by us and are called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting – for our advertising and marketing efforts.

- Assisting you in navigation
- Assisting in registration to our events, login, and your ability to provide feedback
- Analyzing your use of our products, services, or applications

Types of Cookies We Use
-
Strictly Necessary Cookies
- These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
-
Performance Cookies
- These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our site and will not be able to monitor its performance.
-
Functional Cookies
- These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly.
-
Targeting Cookies
- These cookies may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
Managing Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject
